In order to assist you in a better way, please help me understand if you are referring to the port which connects to the wall socket or the other end which connects to the connector on the laptop. I would also request you to attach a picture of the broken leads on the ac adapter.

Thanks for replying Alan,I guess I was not clear. I am referring to the ac adapter connector inside the laptop which is composed of the dc jack and cable to the power supply.

Awesome ejn64. I had tried to buy one from Dell with no luck and didn't know where else to look.
