Oh, don't get me started. I had to get a hacked ATI Mobility Catalyst driver for my M18x so I could upgrade to version 11.9. Dell could very easily let Alienware users update to the standard drivers, but according to ATI Dell wont let that happen. I love my M18x, but Dell blows monkey chunks on the updated driver front. At least I can get the hacked drivers which are stable as a rock.
