Base System Device Drivers Missing

Hello All,

I have a 1520 Dell Inspiron that I just put Windows 7 on.  I have 3 Base System Devices that are missing drivers.  I typed in the #'s trying to see what they were to but had no luck.

#1 is has a PNP Device ID of :  PCI/VEN_1180&DEV_0592&SUBSYS_01F11028&REV_12/4&351F8F49&0&0BF0

#2:  PCI/VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_01F11028&REV_12/4&351F8F49&0&0AF0

#3:  PCI/VEN_1180&DEV_0852&SUBSYS_01F11028&REV_12/4&351F8F49&0&0CF0

Thank you ahead of time for any help.

You need to install the Intel chipset driver.

I had the same problem. In my case, it was  the Ricoh card reader.  The link with the answer, and other drivers, can be found below.  The link he gives is a direct download of the Driver provided by Dell.  I used it and it worked fine with Windows 10 64-bit.:

https://mileski.wordpress.com/2009/10/25/dell-inspiron-1520-windows-7-64-bit-drivers/

this is the pertinent excerpt:

I have installed the new Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit on my Dell Inspiron 1520 Laptop. I can only say that it was worth installing it. Because of the lack of support from Dell (although this laptop is fully 64 bit capable), one has to find some of the drivers itself. I will list here the incompatible drivers that you need, in order for the laptop to work properly with Windows 7 64bit:

1. Missing driver for Ricoh R5C833, R5C847. Corresponding driver can be downloaded here.

Hi, If you dont mind I see you helped someone else with a similar problem. I have a similar issue with the Base System Driver, however when I download the Intel Chipset Driver it says I need the 64 bit version of DPINST.EXE for it to work, however Im not sure where to find and or place that file.. Any ideas?

Thank you

If you let us know what model system you have, we may be able to point you to the file.
