BIOS Setup Lock/Password

Question

Hi!

I'm a computer technician at a school and one of my teachers has a laptop for which they've forgotten the system password in the BIOS. I've already reset the other passwords on the system, but I'd like to be able to change the boot order so that the two failure to boot messages don't appear before loading Windows.

Is there anyone available who might be able to create a Master Password for me? I have the system code and serial number from the laptop available.

The registered owner of the system needs to place a call to Dell support -- they'll resolve the issue. There is no way to do it online - you must call with verification of ownership.
