CAPS LOCK indicator on keyboard?

I have a new Dell XLS computer that came with keyboard & mouse. I can't find any indication of when CAPS LOCK is on. No light, nothing I can see on the screen. Anyone out there know how to check this?

If you specifically want to see a constant(!) sign on the screen that shows you if Caps Lock,Num Lock and Scroll Lock are activated you can download a tiny program that installs an icon in the system tray which lets you know the status of the keys. This is just a suggestion.....

Apparently I ended up in a laptop discussion ... I'm talking PC here so sorry.

Thanks -- tech support tried, but the best they could do was something that pops up an icon on the screen when you turn caps off or on. This might be better. I agree, the default keyboard is bare bones, but until I decide to get a new one, I'm trying to make do.
