Client System Updates Check for updates failed
Every time I run the Client System Update tool and check for updates I get the error message "Check for updates failed"
I have a Dell Latitude E6430 running Windows 7 SP1 64 bit and I am connected to the internet/
I have seen several similar posts but no resolution.

I'm having the same issue.
When I run the command line tool with logging enabled, it seems to be able to download some files but then fails anyway

Same problem. Dell Latitude E5520. No proxy, and it works fine on a different laptop. Is there any solution?

I got an answer from Dell:
Dell Client System Update is no longer being supported, and has been replaced by a successor called Dell Command. If you are already at version 1.3 for DCSU, then the new Dell Command/Update program install will upgrade you properly.
You can search for Dell Command/Update on their web site, or try the link below:

It works great!
