Client System Updates Check for updates failed

Every time I run the Client System Update tool and check for updates I get the error message "Check for updates failed"

I have a Dell Latitude E6430 running Windows 7 SP1 64 bit and I am connected to the internet/

I have seen several similar posts but no resolution.

I'm having the same issue.

When I run the command line tool with logging enabled, it seems to be able to download some files but then fails anyway

downloads.dell.com/.../CatalogPC.cab was successfully downloaded to C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Dell\ClientSystemUpdate\Temp\44115a68-935c-4909-a112-6983c21bed9e\CatalogPC.cab

Catalog Load Failed

Same problem.  Dell Latitude E5520.  No proxy, and it works fine on a different laptop.  Is there any solution?

Same problem on my M4700.  Problem seems to have begun in Feb. 2015.

I got an answer from Dell:

Dell Client System Update is no longer being supported, and has been replaced by a successor called Dell Command.  If you are already at version 1.3 for DCSU, then the new Dell Command/Update program install will upgrade you properly.

You can search for Dell Command/Update on their web site, or try the link below:

It works great!
