CMOS Read/Write Error

Question

Hi all   Ive got a Lattitude D400 laptop and im getting a Write/Read error message when i boot, press F1 to carry on and it gives me the Windows logo then blue screens with a error message   Any Ideas anyone   Phil

This is not a BIOS read/write error but your Windows is corrupted.   You may have to format and reinstall your Windows.    Have you tried booting into safe mode?

Managed to sort this problem out, booted into dos and run Chcksum and its fixed the issue Thanks for your help anyway fellas
