Thanks for the reply. I sure will when it arrives, cant wait.
I now have a link for viewing tracking with the courier but am slighly puzzeled. Heres what it says so far:
11/04/08 17:00 RAHEEN DEPARTED EMF.
11/04/08 16:34 IVR-OUTBOUND POSTCARD SENT TO CUSTOMER.
11/04/08 16:34 IVR-OUTBOUND PRE CALL - NO ANSWER.
11/04/08 14:27 IVR-OUTBOUND PRE CALL - NO ANSWER.
11/04/08 12:21 IVR-OUTBOUND PRE CALL - NO ANSWER.
11/04/08 11:55 CALL LOCK OUT.
I dont understand if that pre-call no answer means they tried to call me then not sure whats going on as been in all day and not had any calls.

Most likely a computer calling (automatic program) and the calling operation failed to execute.
Seems like the attempted call was never executed since you did not get the call.
Why would they call you anyway? They should deliver the order!
If you can get their customer service number, you could call them.
Also, see if they have a web page from which you may get some service.
Google your carrier and select from there.
Good luck.

Thanks for the reply, Im in the UK.
I think may have to call them in the morning as Walsh Western tracking site just has me confused. I cant work why they would want to call me either, have had loads of items come via a courier from various courier's and all of them just list where your package is and sometimes a rough estimate time of arrival but never had a phone call off one nor have I ever expected one.
I will check again tomorrow on the site see if anything has changed or if can make any sense of it if not will see if can speak to someone.
Looking back at it I think the thing thats got me most baffeled is the postcard sent to customer bit I dont want no postcard I just want my order delivered asap just like any other courier does.

I have had several systems delivered by WW (in the UK), each time without any problems.
The customer call will be them trying to phone you (using the contact number you provided when ordering) to arrange a firm delivery slot (am/pm and date), If the number is unanswered the call will fail. I don't know why they sent you a postcard though (I never had this).
If I were you I'd call them (you'll need your Dell order reference) and arrange the delivery - your tracking will then show this as an update (customer contacted, delivery plan set etc...).
Hope this helps...
Good luck!

Great report on receiving the system. I am glad for you!
I would suggest that you do NOT change anything for a few days or for the time frame allotted for returns.
By changing things and then having a problem, you won't know if it is the new system or the change you made to the new system.
I always run my systems as much as possible without adding any hardware or software to determine how the system will hold up. This also allows me to become familiar with how things work.
Just my thoughts!

It sure was, couldnt wait to get home from college today to get my XPS out and working and so far my experience with it has been great every bit worth the purchase.
Just a couple of quick questions how do i check what graphics driver version Im on and if there is an update do I need to uninstall existing one or can i just go ahead and install any newer versions?

Good to hear it went well.
Listen, I’m no great expert, but I fully endorse the advice that runnman has given you. Whilst I do tend to do a little bit of tweaking when I first get a new lappie or desktop, this is confined to removing unwanted 'flim-flam ware' and installing my own programs and games and any necessary updates. I try to leave the system fundamentals alone until there is a need, or purpose to have a fiddle. I suspect many users’ early troubles stem from making sweeping changes before they really understand and appreciate their systems.
Personally, I have never found a significant or perceptible difference in speed after changing graphics drivers – the changes generally only show up in benchmarks (which is fine - each to their own of course), so I’d advise that if it isn’t broken – don’t try to fix it.
However, if you do want to find out what drivers you have you can do a right click on an empty part of the desktop and select nVidia Control Panel, once that has opened you should find a Help option on the menu, select that and choose System Information. The current ForceWare Version should be there, along with other graphics related information which you can explore.
You can also click on the Start button, select Computer, then under Folders right click on Computer and select Properties and then Device Manager. Look under Display Adapters and right click on the nVidia option to open the Properties where you will find the Driver Date and Version.
(Your graphics set-up is far advanced to mine so there may be some differences).
If/ when you do decide to update the drivers, Dell usually provide instructions on how to go about it when you go to download them. But just pause for a moment and first ask yourself – do I really need to do this?
Good luck!

Thanks to both ZakZapper_UK and runnman for the advice will take it onboard. Thanks for posting how to view graphics card driver version needed to know before go through with the long install of Gears of War as that game wont run for any longer than about half an hour without version 163 or above after looking I noticed pre installed is 167.55 which is perfect can now get on and enjoy Gears.
Thanks again for all replies much apreciated.
