Dell Travel Remote Control
Do all XPS m1530 laptops come with the dell travel remote control that fits into the express card slot? Please let me know as my system was shipped without a remote. Thank you.

That is the problem. I have called them and they have transferred me to many different departments and they said that the remote does not come with the xps m1530. However, a representative at the XPS support said that the remote should be a standard item. Also, on the xps m1530 page, the image of the remote is being shown like it comes with the system and you are not able to select the remote as an added accessory when you build the laptop. They kept saying that since it's not in the invoice, the remote should not be included. Is there not a possibility that maybe the salesperson forgot to include the remote? I would just like to receive the remote if it is rightfully mine.

The XPS extras were shipped for a limited time. These extras were not even mentioned when the M1530 was ordered. Chances are you will not get anything.

After reinstalling my system, I could not find the softaware to install the remote. Has anyone an idea how to proceed?
