Unplug the system, remove the battery and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Reattach the power cable (no battery) and power up - has the blinking stopped?
If not, go into the BIOS setup - is the AC adapter listed or is it showing "unknown"? Press F2 a couple of times at powerup to get to the BIOS setup.
Remove the battery. If the blinking stops, it's your early warning that a new battery will soon be needed - one or more of the cells in the existing battery has failed.

@ejn63 Also, I forgot to mention, that my laptop never comes off the charger, it's ALWAYS on the charger so should I be worried or not?

@ejn63 I removed the battery and held the power button. And then I plugged it in without the battery and the blinking stopped.
