Dell Webcam Central Problem

Question

Hello. I don't really know where to post it. I thought this would be best. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron N7110 if this helps. Okay, so my Dell Central Webcam told me that it needed an update, so I let it update. I think I might've had an internet connection problem or something during the download to interrupt and mess with it. Anyways, whenever I use the Webcam, it says 'Some software files are missing. Please try to reinstall the software.' I can't re-update it because it says I already have the latest version. I can't find where I can uninstall it; if I try to delete the application, my computer tells me I may not be able to locate or view some things that are associated with the webcam (I guess it means video and pictures). I've tried to download the program from software.informer.com, but whenever it tries to install it, I get a message saying I already have this program and the one I'm trying to download is more complex than the one I already have, therefore the installation is ceased. I've tried to register my laptop to download programs that came with it, but nothing happens when I try to register my laptop, so therefore I can't get to the programs.  I don't really know what to do at this point. It stinks 'cause my Webcam settings are set on a very high contrast, so it can't really take good pictures right now. I'm kinda frustrated.Any idea what I could do? Any help would be appreciated.

Try to restore your system to its earlier state. From the time you were about to do an update to your webcam driver. From there, don't do any updates as some of these updates lead to various problems instead of good upgrades.

Well, I was able to uninstall the Dell Webcam Central, but I am not able to register my system to access the downloads. I am using Internet Explorer when trying to register and I have Microsoft.NET Framework 1.1 and both Microsoft.NET Framework 4 Client Profile and Extended. When I click to register, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
