Dell XPS 17 Function Keys
What POSSESSED Dell to change how the Function keys.. well, function?
If someone presses F2, it turns of the WIRELESS? For F2, you have to press FN+F2?
This is truly ludicrous.
Can someone please advise how to reverse this?

It's a toggle switch. Just press again to turn it back on. The function keys serve double duty now--Multimedia and Function Keys. You can select the default in QuickSet or Windows Mobility Center. Just type it in the Start Box to access either one. The default doesn't use the FN key, but the non default does. Windows Help has info on Windows Mobility Center.

Amazing! I have googled this problem 100 times and never found the setting. I don't know how I lucked into the right search this time, but *THANK YOU* this has been so frustrating. I'm also happy that my new Dell remembers my alternate screen placement.
Windows Mobility Center?! Who would ever look there on their own?
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
