This is a failure of the memory test.  What model system do you have?

If the RAM is removeable, unplug the system, remove or disconnect the battery and  hold the power button for 30 sec.  Remove and reinstall the memory module(s).  Try powering up again.

If you see the same error, try the modules one at a time in each socket until you isolate the bad module (replace with a new one) or bad socket (which will require the mainboard be replaced).

Hi ETHAN NG,

What is the exact system model? What is the current OS installed on the system?

As advised by ejn63, try the steps to remove and reseat the memory modules and isolate the faulty memory.

Download the service manual here if required - http://dell.to/1n3X2po - enter the service tag and download the manual.

If the system is under warranty, Please click my DELL-username and write me a private conversation with the service tag and your contact details(Name and Email). If there is no warranty, then you could contact our team to get a quote for a paid service call - http://dell.to/1vnT6CQ

Keep us updated.

That's either a bad memory module, socket or controller.  We can't assist further without knowing what system model you have (i.e. Inspiron 5523, N5110, etc.).

Swap the two modules (unplug the system, remove the battery or disconnect it and hold the power button first).  Re-test.  If the same module fails a second time in the other slot, replace it.  If the failure sticks to the original socket with the other module, replace the mainboard.
