Your disc is defective. I dont know the specific error but in my company the HDD will be replaced.
You should hurry to connect the HDD to another PC to secure Your files, while it is still responding.
You might succeed in running a disc repair and then being able to log in normally, but I would not rely on the HDD for long.

Ok so the same thing is happening to my laptop same model... warranty just out as well... thing is this laptop was given to me and I do not have the recovery disks for it.... how do I get ahold of those?
