Error Code 2000-0146... What exactly is wrong with the hard drive???

Hi. I have error code 2000-0146 after running dell diagnostic. A Hard Drive error... I have removed the hard drive and plugged it into my standard PC setup and analysed it with both HDTune Pro and the windows general error finding/fixing tool. I can find no "Errors/faults" with this hard drive at all. It performs perfectly. Can someone actually state what exactly is error 2000-0146 because after a lot of googling, all I have is hard drive fault, and the hard drive is working fine. Does it mean windows and/or dell software failure on the hard drive because I can find no hardware issues with all the tests I've run. Many thanks for any info provided!! :-)

Unplug the notebook and remove the battery.  Hold the power button for 30 sec.

Reboot and rerun the diagnostics - if you don't see the error again, you're set.  If you do the drive has failed one or more diagnostics again.

Many thanks for the reply. Have tried with no success. I'm after what fault exactly flags that error code up. The hard drive from my laptop passes any test and the SMART report has zero errors. What exactly is that error code flagging up? A hardware error (because I appear to have none...) or a software error? Again many thanks in advance to anyone who has input! :-)

The 0146 error means a drive in the system tripped an error at one point.  Did you replace a failed drive already (or is there another drive - even an mSATA drive - in the system that might be the source)?
