ERROR Driver_power_state_failure
Hello, 2 months ago i have bought an inspiron 177000series and i often have an error that it is like a blue screen and there is something that says: "you can search the error online : Driver_power_state_failure".
I need help! What can I do for fix it?

Hi lalolalao,
It seems like driver conflict. Please reply us with the snapshot of the device manager. Also, In the meanwhile perform Windows update on the system.

I run the windows update and it says there are 2 optional updatesavailable. When i put Install it says that the new updates were installed but when i open it again it says that they were not installed

Please run the diagnostics on the computer by following the steps mentioned in the video below and check if there is any issue with the hardware on your system.

Also, I would like to know the ‘Hardware ID’ of the unknown device. Please follow the steps mentioned below to find the ‘Hardware ID’ in device manager.lalolalao

I run the device manager again but that of the uknown device didn't appear. I wanted to know ifthat of the windows update that i told you was a problem. And i wanted to know if by running the diagnosticts in the computer i would loose any files or something.

Hi lalolalao,
The Windows update would have installed the unknown device on the system. Running Dell diagnostics will not delete the files on the system as it would check the hardware performance on the computer.
