Floppy Disk Drive Module
I have a stack of old 3.5" floppy disks with some information I'd like to get off them. I have a Latitude CP Floppy Disk Drive Module P/N 66942 and a cable that will connect it to and serial printer port (25 pin). Is it possible to use this with any other computer? My old Latitude laptop is very unstable at its best. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Will it work? Any drivers that would be needed.

Printer ports are parallel, not serial - the module and cable will work with any of the C-series Latitudes or Inspirons (but nothing else).
Otherwise, consider buying a USB floppy diskette drive (while you still can - the handwriting is on the wall for these).
