Hard Drive 0-DST Short test Failed by my N5110 Laptop
Hi,
The performance of my computure is very low.After i run the diuagnostics test, the following message appeared:
Hard Drive 0-DST Short test Failed
Test Results: Fail
Error Code:2000 - 0142
Validation 59888
Msg: Hard Drive 0-S/N S2W1YGBB, self test unsuccessful. Status = 7
What should i do?

Replace the hard drive.

You will need a new, 2.5" 7 or 9.5 mm SATA notebook drive -- hard drive, hybrid or solid state drive. Replacement instructions:

As you can see, it's not an easy job to do on this model.
