How to highlight/copy text using just the touch feature (not trackpad) on Dell XPS with touch?

I just got my Dell XPS and figuring it all out. I used to have an Inspirion 2 in 1 with touch and was able topy text by just highlighting it with my finger via the touch feature. I am not able to do that with my new XPS 13 with touch though. I can highlight and copy text with the trackpad but do I need to configure a setting somewhere in order to set that up for touch?
