Identifying Function keys
I need to know where I can learn about the functions of the Function keys on my Latitude E6500. Please do not suggest I read the manual, because the Quick Start and Setup Guide makes no mention of them.

This is a tough question since you are correct there are no instructions. However the KB function keys look the same as many other models. Most times the function keys can be toggled to work 2 ways-- with and without the FN key at the bottom. Try it both ways to see what the keys do. One way is for Multimedia and the other the standard functions-- sleep, brighten screen, wireless on/off etc. Multimedia is for volume controls and other media controls. You can even change the default behavior which usually is Multimedia. Check your Help files. If you have Dell Quickset utility or Windows Mobility Center, that can change the settings.
