ip configuration tool

am a new use of dell and i replace my old laptop with dell studio 1535 i wondered is there a tool for detecting the wireless LAN and configure the presaved ip address and the gateway automatically cause my type of works need me to keep moving between several location and each one has its his own configuration so it would be more easier if there is a tool like e-net for acer and gonfig free for Toshiba laptops

am sure dell has one but am not familiar with so would appreciated if you can help
