IR not working...

Question

Hello I have a Dell Inspiron 8500, running WinXP SP2, and I could have sworn I had Infared before.  For some reason now, when I go to control panel or check out the hardware manager, I can't find any instances of infared.  What I'm trying to do is sync my palm treo with my laptop through IR.  Thanks for any help!

If your laptop has IR then you should be able to enable it in BIOS.
