Keyboard Lock

Question

Hello, I was wondering if there's a way to lock the keyboard, not just while the screensaver is on, but during normal usage?  I have my Studio 17 notebook hooked up to my hdtv and my cat on occasion will walk over the keyboard while I am watching a video or something which invariably causes the video to stop playing.

Ah, the infamous 'cat typing'. There is an actual program out there that detects and blocks cat typing. You should be able to Google it, but I don't know if they work for Vista machines. There are a few programs out there and this is a common problem with cat owners, like me.
