Laptop Screen Sizes
Hi,
I always wondered why is the Laptop's size usually in decimals. For example, it is 14.2 inches or 20.10 inches etc. What's the basis of doing this? Any ideas?
Cheers

Most likely due to the conversion of metric to decimal.

Or possibly because those are the actual sizes, and other measurements have simply been rounded down :emotion-55:
For instance, a monitor described as 20", may be (i.e.) 20.10" in reality, but it's become the industry standard to round the figures down to the nearest whole number?
