Lenovo bluetooth software????
Hi there! I have a program on my Dell Inspiron laptop called "Lenovo Bluetooth w/enhanced data rate software. What is this and why do I need it? Not sure how it got installed. Thanks for your help!

Hi Rie4510,
This software is related to the Bluetooth device; also let me know if Bluetooth functionality is good. Did you have any issues with the Bluetooth device in the past or did you make any changes with the software

Hi Senthil! Thanks for your response. At the risk of sounding stupid...I never even knew I had bluetooth on my laptop until I noticed this. After doing some research, I realized that the program must have been downloaded during some updates that I did on Dell.com. However, I don't even know what a bluetooth does on a laptop (I thought they were just for cell phones)! LOL. Can you explain? You are more than welcome to laugh because I know I probably sound like a dummy when it comes to computers. I actually thought I knew a lot before this issue arose!! Thanks in advance! :)

Hi Rie4510,
Having Bluetooth in the laptop is an added advantage you can connect Bluetooth mouse to the laptop. Bluetooth has a hidden antenna within the notebook. Bluetooth is great for sharing media between computers and mobile devices. If you want to send a photo from one laptop to another you can use Bluetooth and it trasnfer the files faster.
