lots of security errors
I have an inspiron 1545 with Windows 7 that keeps giving me security errors.
Upon start up i received two security errors: Dell Datasafe local Backup\components and \Toaster.exe.
I cannot download anything, I get a "failed : blocked" error using Chrome.
Internet Explorer and Firefox will not go beyond the home page so I don't know if this is a Chrome error or not.
Several of my programs, including Adobe Photoshop will not open.
Everything I read that comes with the errors said to enable my security settings.
I checked my security settings, they are all enabled.
I ran a virus scan - nothing.
What else do I need to do?

Hi jaacka8,
I would suggest you to run the Dell Diagnostics to check the hardware functionality. Power off the computer -> restart the computer, press 'F12' key on the Dell logo -> Select ‘Diagnostics’ from the boot menu.
I would also suggest you to check the computer in safe mode if you experience the same issue. Power off the computer -> Restart the computer, tap F8 on Dell logo 2-3 times -> This will take you to ‘Windows Advanced Boot Options’ -> Choose ‘Safe Mode’ in the Advanced Boot menu (use ‘up’ or ‘down’ arrow keys to highlight the option, press ‘enter’ to select) -> When Windows finishes loading in Safe mode, check if the computer is working fine.
Please reply with the findings.

Thanks for the reply.
I ran a diagnostics test. At least half of the things failed (I had to abort it after 3 hours because i had to leave). They said: Memory - integrity test fail on each one.
I started it in safe mode but the internet wouldn't connect in safe mode to see if it would work or not.

Hi jaacka8,
If diagnostics have produced memory errors, then the issue might be with the memory modules of the computer. I would suggest you to run the diagnostics again and share the error code (2000-XXXX) so that we can troubleshoot the issue accordingly.
Awaiting your response.

Hi jaacka8,
The error code indicates an issue with the RAM. I would suggest you to re-seat the memory modules and check. Also, I would suggest you to remove all the memory modules from the computer. Then put one RAM at a time and check if there is any change. Ensure that you check in all the available slots with just one RAM. You may refer to the Service Manual. Please ensure to follow safety instructions.
