If one module tests bad in both sockets, overwhelming odds are that it's the module that's faulty.  Replace the memory module with a new one.

Unplug the system, remove or disconnect the battery and hold the power button for 30 sec.  Remove and reinstall the memory module and re-test.  If it fails again,

If there are two modules, try each one by itself in each socket, re-testing until you find the bad module;

 replace it with a nee one, (or if one socket shows both modules fail, it's the module that's bad - replace the mainboard.

If you have just one memory module, test in the other socket.  If it fails there, replace the module.  If it does not, then replace the mainboard (it's the socket that's bad).

I have one module. I have tested it in both sockets but got the same error. I don't have a new module so I don't know if it's the problem in module or the socket.
