Memory Upgrade for M1530 from PC5300 to PC6400

Has anyone upgraded from PC5300 to PC6400? Did it show in BIOS as 667 mhtz or 800 mhz. I considering throwing in 4GB of 800mhtz to see if bios will read it as 800 or if their is a bios limit from Dell on the M1530 and it will only run at 667? Does anyone know or have tried this?

It isn't a Dell limit - it's a hardware limit from the Intel chipset.  667 is as fast as the RAM will run, even if you install PC2-6400 (800 MHz RAM).

It will reconized it but will not run at that speed. Or unless there is a overclock utility that will let run increase the memory timing.
