N5010 Power light and left front LED (white) blinks and won't power on.

Hi All,

I have a Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop, the power light (light on the power button) and the left front LED white light blinks every 5 seconds.  It doesn't power on at all.  Please help me on this issue.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION!

Hi all, I experienced the same problem with my laptop after opening it up to upgrade the hard drive, after re-assembling the laptop wouldn't switch on, only the led in front and on the power button would flash. What I then discovered after opening it up for about the five time, was the first time I opened the laptop I started at the memory cover, I loosened the black pin on the CPU as well. After fixing the position of this pin my laptop was working again no problems...

I had the same problem. Just  remove the RAM cover and inter change the RAM slots. I had one 1 GB and another 2GB. I interchanged them and it works fine. Make sure u put the RAM correctly. I don't know how it works but it did for me.
