Need Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi driver for my XPS L702X

Hi,

I recently installed Windows 8 x64 on my XPS 17 (L702x) and while I was installing all drivers I couldn't find the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi. I can provide my service tag if needed.

P78KY 1 Kit, Software, Creative, PANZER, 1.2, W#2

In my original system configuration that's the part number identifying my purchase of this software stack. I installed the Dell Digital Delivery software and it did nothing, and I don't see this listed under "My Dell Downloads" either.

Can you help me find the files?

Thank you.

Thank you both.  I am downloading this now, but it seems like the "Dell Digital Delivery" never included the "upgraded" Creative drivers/utility - I had to call dell directly and have them mail me a CD last time.

On Windows8.1, the "My digital Downloads"  (or whatever it is) actually provides no updates required, so it seems like it may not truly supported this model.

I love my dell system, but that is one thing that really irks me that Dell does not update drivers after the first year, or so, the system has been released.

For example, if I use the ancient Windows 7 nVidia drivers provided by Dell, the system runs a lot cooler and the fan kicks on less.  If I use the standard nVidia drivers, that provide a lot better performance for games, the system kicks the fan into high gear a large percentage of the time.   So, you can't win.

Windows 8.1 hasn't experienced that problem yet.

Thanks again for your help!

Hi!

I am facing problem with activation key. I contacted creative but they told me to contact dell for it, since it is an OEM product. How did you exactly get the new activation key.
