Not able to create power scheme

Hi
 
I'm having problems creating a power scheme. I have uninstalled the Dell Quickset, because it was of no use... but now I can't even use the ordinary Power Management. Everytime I change the values of standby-time etc., click "Save as", type in a valid name and press OK, it seems to be okay, but as soon as I click Apply and OK it has not saved the scheme.
 
Hope you can give me some useful new input :)

My computer is a Latitude x300 btw

Hi

I've just managed to solve the problem myself. It seemed to be the Dell Quickset that had created 100+ profiles, so that no more could be saved.

[HKEY_USERS\%USER\Control Panel\PowerCfg\PowerPolicies]

I deleted this key and exported this key, with subkeys:

[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\PowerCfg\PowerPolicies]
 
Now I have all default profiles, and can save new :)
