Presentation Mode
I have connected the VGA cables as directed from my laptop to the TV monitor, yet cannot get anything to come up on the monitor. I tried it on my HP laptop and it worked fine. But no such luck on this DELL Latitude D630. Can anyone help me with this?

Is it a television or a monitor you're using? Dell's systems won't output to a TV from VGA.

IT's a VIZIO LCD TV with a 15-pin D-Sub RGB (VGA) cable input to connect to computeres. So are you saying that DELL won't work in this scenario?

That is correct. In order to work the system (notebook) has to support TV out over VGA, which the Dell D-series does not.
