problems printing only from docking station
I have a user with a Dell Precision M60 and a Pro1X docking station who is trying to print to an HP Deskjet 5650 and is getting a message that the printer is out of paper when it isn't.
If I connect the printer directly to the laptop, boot the laptop, and try to print, it prints right away. I've changed out the replicator but have still had no luck other than narrowing the problem to the port replicator.
Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?
Sorry if this has been posted before but
i'm new to this forum (and relicators/docking stations in general).

Reply to my own post, I guess.
I found the answer to this one. Ran Dell diagnostics and found that the parallel port, when connected to the replicator, wasn't generating a request for an interrupt.
Dell replaced the main board.
