processor failure
I have a 1 year old Inspiron laptop with processor failure. I get the feeling Dell knows this is an issue but don't want to address it? Anyway, out of warranty two months so it's dead and I am out lots of $$. So upset. I've always been a loyal Dell customer having purchased many Dells in the past. Now they seem unwilling to even speak to me unless I pay to ask a question. No way to treat a good customer. Anyway, anyone else got recommendations on a decent laptop...I am leaning towards Toshiba as a replacement.

Hi eminana97,
I sincerely apologize for the technical troubles you have experienced with your Dell computer.
May I know the system model so that I can take the case further?
Awaiting your response!

This is directly from my invoice-Dell Inspiron N5110 15.6"Notebook Intel Core i3 6GB RAM,640GBHD Windows7,Webcam &4-Yr Antivirus-purchased 2/2012 - died 6/2013-lightly and gently used by only myself. So, so disgusted with Dell right now-this should have lived a much longer life than ONE YEAR!!!

Whatever you get next time, buy with a 3-year warranty. All notebooks are built by the same set of contract manufacturers, with the same components - meaning you've about equal probability of trouble with any of them. And no one is going to cover post - warranty repairs for free.
