Right Click Touchpad Button Issues

Hi,

I spilled about a quarter sized drop of cranberry juice on my XPS laptop last night, which seeped under the right click button.  Now the button clicks, but is not connecting with a command.  I've gone into the Touchpad admin area and "Shortcut Menu" is selected, but it's no longer working.

Is there a way to remove the button to clean under it?  Is this advisable?  I can't live without my right mouse button, so would appreciate any help!

And yes, trust me - no more drinking and typing.

Thanks,

Gwen

Gwen,

Did you ever get an answer?  I am having a similar issue with my inspiron touch pad key, although it was most likely a cracker crumb!
