S-Video
I have an Inspiron 1100. I have tried to use the s-video (tv-out) link my tv using correct leads with scart adaptor. However, i can only manage to get intermitent sound and no picture.
What am I doing wrong???

i had the same problem on inspiron 8500
try to connect svideo or composite to an tv card or tv
then start up tv card/tv input to svideo or the composite cinch you like.
after this start the notebook!
first of this you have to shutdown the notebook completely of course
