Screen Blinking

My screen blinks black whenever I do certain actions on my computer. It is not consistent, but the action I have found to cause this most frequently is opening anything that requires admin privileges. When the notification pops up to allow or deny an application the screen turns black, but turns back on as soon as a hit a key or move the mouse. This also happens when I open full screen applications, and sometimes at other times. Also, I am not sure if this is related or not, but when I am watching a full screen video, my computer often un-fullscreens as if it was alt-tabbed to a different process or application, but I can not narrow down which process or application is doing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi fumblemuffin,

Updating BIOS, chipset and video driver may help, use the link below to download the drivers in the exact order.

http://dell.to/QjjZDA

Please punch in the system service tag or express service code, under the BIOS category select the latest BIOS and install it. Under the chipset category select the chipset driver, under the video category select the video driver which is appropriate for your computer and install it.

Please do reply for further assistance.

I had already recently updated all of these drivers, I downloaded them again to be sure, and it said that these were the versions already installed.
