I also have the 8600 but with the wsxga+ running at 1680x1050 max. I agree its quite the adjustment getting use to the small font. To adjust my web pages and font I did the typicall changes to the "advance" internet options (unclick image resizing box), changed the HR user key from 1 to 0 and changed my DPI from 96 to 120. The web pages still come up half screen but the fonts and pics look better. However, it would be nice to have a web page one fill the whole screen. What I do now is open two at a time, put them side by side, and do twice the surfing. And as a bonus it gives me the look of being on the bridge of the Enterprise! later :smileyvery-happy:
I do have IE 6.0. In the browser go into Tools, then Internet Options, Advance, then under Multimedia, is the first box- enable auomatic image resizing - unclick it!

Oh, you mean that box... I have no idea why I could not see it before!
I have un-checked the box, but it has no effect that I can see.
