SigmaTel Sound Card Problem SOLVED!!!

I want to express our appreciation to Jim (Jimco) for his suggestion to take a look at the TOTAL RECORDER application to record internally the streaming audio from the internet. Not only did that solve the problem we thought we were stuck with, but the application TOTAL RECORDER, STANDARD VERSION 6.0 is far superior than the previous application my wife used on her Gateway Notebook. PROBLEM SOLVED!!! Much obliged, sir.
