Touchpad E6410

Question

Hi there, My config is : E6410, Windows 7/64 and the Dell Touchpad driver 7.1107.101.210. I have disabled the touchpad cause only using the pointer. Now, the issue is that quite frequently while using an office 2010 64, the touchpad enter in a selection mode (area selection in light blue) without doing anything, to exit this mode I then have to escape or right click which is really annoying. Anyone else have encountered this behavior ?, any information regarding a new driver version ?. Thanks,

I have the same laptop as yours (LATITUDE E6410, Windows 7/64) please tell me how I can disable my touchpad or mousepad...

actually it doesn't works properly my mouse cursor is continuously moving in down direction I want to disable this and will use an external mouse.

please help. Thank you
