TV Connection
I am trying to get my Inspiron to use my TV as a monitor, but I cannot get the PC to recognize the TV. I believe I have the correct connections, but when I go to the Control Panel and Intel Extreme Graphics 2, the TV does not show as a display option. I am using an S-Video cable with an extension. What else can I try? Thanks. David

Don’t know if I can ref. eBay but here is one of the..

there is no trick order here, its just best to have the dongel(adapter) connected to your cable and the cable to your tv, before turning on the laptop. You dont realy have to do this, it just helps the driver auto detect it.

You have an rca jack I think its yellow, and an svideo. The other is an SPDIF Digital Audio to connect to audio receivers (black). The svideo is completely different it has 4 pins. You will need an svideo cable to connect it to the back of your TV/device svideo's port. For the RCA, same deal you will see an RCA connection to connect it to the tv. If you don’t see either of these you will need an rca to coax converter (radio shack).
