Using a floppy disk drive module as external drive

I recently replaced my 3 year old lattitude with a new one.  I need to access a floppy drive and got out the old floppy drive with the cable and tried to use it on my new lattitude.  I realized I probably don't have the proper driver and do not know where to get it.  When I use "add hardware"  it is not picking up the device.   Any suggestions.

Hi,

If you are trying, you cant use a " C " series floppy with a " D " series computer. The " D " series external floppy was a USB connection, not the printer port.
