I found the latest version of Dell Access Direct, http://support.dell.com/filelib/format.aspx?releaseid=r40613, version 1.50. However, it wont install. While attempting to install, I get the message below after extracting the files during the beginning of the installation:
Over the phone Dell support is terrible. They took 20 minutes to tell me to restart the computer and then if that doesnt fix it send it to them, AGAIN, so that they can attempt to fix the problem.
If anyone has a permenant fix for this problem, please let me know.
The laptop is 4 months old, its the 8500. I have tried un installing quickset and then installing it again, and this solves the problem for about a week, and even then, it goes in and out at will...
