What does "unlocking" mean?
So i didnt read up on OCing prebuilt computers at all and come to find out that it just cant be done for the most part. I keep reading posts saying that if you call Dell theyll give you a PW to unlock your bios, but the same posts say you still wont be able to tweak the speed of anything like the CPU or RAM... so whats the point in having a PW to unlock the bios?

Unlock means that if you've set a password and forgotten it, you can call Dell, which upon proof of ownership will assist with unlocking the password through a master key.
It has nothing to do with unlocking BIOS settings - you can't unlock settings that aren't there to begin with.

i can't call Dell, do someone help me with unlocking bios? i see screen with prompt to enter unlock key to bios
