Windows 8 Driver Request

Hi Guys,

SYSTEM MODEL: DELL STUDIO 1558

OS INSTALLED: WINDOWS 8 PRO 64BIT

DRIVER REQUESTED:

1.UNKNOWN DEVICE ON DEVICE MANAGER

HARDWARE ID:

ACPI\VEN_SMO&DEV_8800
ACPI\SMO8800
*SMO8800
 

2. Dell wireless 365 Bluetooth module
 

3. Dell ST Micro sensor(not sure of the name)

Thank you so much, but the link provided seems to be slow in download, and stops for no reason. We are unable to download the drivers.

Hi Shirabthinath. Nj,

Thank you for replying. In order to assist you further, please help me understand if rest all the driver were installed properly. I would also like to know if you are getting any error code when the Bluetooth drivers installation fails. If yes please write back with the error code.

DO NOT INCREASE OR DECREASE DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS TILL ALL THE DRIVERS ARE INSTALLED PROPERLY, ATLEAST TILL ATI DRIVER IS INSTALLED.
 

After Installing Win 8 pro (NOT UPGRADING)
 

Install these drivers
 

   DELL_SYSTEM-SOFTWARE_A01_R260746.exe
 

   R242805.exe  (for chipset)
 

   R243176.exe  (Intel Management Engine)
 

   R245385.exe  (Intel TurboBoost Driver)
 

   Dell_QuickSet_A07_R272666.exe
 

Then the new drivers -
 

   ATI mobility HD5470 -
 

www2.ati.com/.../12-10_mobility_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql_net4.exe
 

   Synaptic touchpad -
 

   downloads-us.dell.com/.../2
 

   Ricoh card reader -  PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_E852

   Dell 365 Bluetooth -
 

   ftp1.dell.com/.../1
 

   Motion sensor -

Then search for  win 8 update KB2756872, it will  not appear on windows update list.
 

Then install the update.
