1. Administrative Tools | Local Security Policy 2. (Elevate privilege) 3. Local Policies | Security Options 4. Change Interactive log on: Do not require CTRL+ALT+DEL from "Not Defined" to "Enabled" 5. Close Local Security Policy tool.
While in Tablet mode press and hold the Windows button, then slide the power switch and release both
the login screen will appear with the keyboard. I have experienced where the keyboard does not auto deploy, in that case swipe up from the bottom of the screen (the bottom being where the Windows button is) and the keyboard will appear

Hello Randygibbs,
One possible fix that can be tried:
1. Administrative Tools | Local Security Policy
2. (Elevate privilege)
3. Local Policies | Security Options
4. Change Interactive log on: Do not require CTRL+ALT+DEL from "Not Defined" to "Enabled"
5. Close Local Security Policy tool.
The CTRL+ALT+DELETE screen is bypassed and the login screen is used instead. Click here to refer the article on how to change the settings for How Enable or Disable Secure Sign-in with Ctrl+Alt+Delete in Windows 8.
Please write back for further queries.
