1703FP display rotation driver
I purchased a 1703FP that has display rotation. The install CD had a video driver, but it was not updated to support display rotation. It said to go to the Dell Web site to download the proper driver. Well, the Web site has several drivers and I could not tell which one was the proper one.
I called Dell and they will not give me any help, because am not using this monitor with a Dell computer, but another brand. I cannot get any support from Dell because there is no service tag on just the monitor, and they told me they cannot give support when I don't own a Dell machine. The only thing they told me to do was to contact my computer mfr., who has since told me that I need to contact the monitor mfr. for the driver.
So I am caught in this horrendous catch 22 and just about to send the LCD and sound board back to Dell! Any advice is appreciated on which driver to download (and is this dangerous with another computer brand).
