Built-in microphone has really bad quality, static/fuzzy sound.
I have a Dell Inspiron touchscreen laptop. My service tag is <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy> . I have been using a screen recorder for Youtube and skyping with friends, and it is really annoying because my microphone that is built into my computer always has a horrible background noise. It is a fuzzy/static-y sound and the audio is horrible.
My grandfather has the same computer bought at around the same time and his microphone quality is perfect. What do I do?

Recently I also bought a Dell Inspiron 15 3537 laptop. I also have the same issue. When I call to somebody using skype, he/she can't here my voice clearly. Also I have adjusted microphone levels to their maximum. But they can only here a "SHHHHHHH" sound rather than mine. (They say voice is very very low.) What is this issue on Dell Laptops? Is it a fault on mine?

I ran the scan and it said that it removed one error, but it didn't seem to change the quality.

Hello. Reinstall the Realtek audio driver from the Inspiron 15 3537 downloads page. Be sure to select your operating system first, then get the driver from the audio category.
Next, open windows Sound Recorder (not Skype) and test the mic. If the quality is still bad then contact tech support to schedule a repair.
