E4310 XPSP3 SM Bus Controller
From a fresh build of an E4310 i installed all the relevant drivers in the order stated on the Dell website (that includes the Dell system softwere and Intel chipset software) but the machine is still missing the SM Bus controller and some unknown device.
Has anyone any incite into this????
I have already tried to re-install the drivers to no avail.
No Events found!

I experienced this same issue, but found that a reinstall of driver, A02_R257446.exe, after all other drivers cleared Windows Device Manager of "Unkown Devices (the SM Bus Controller thingy). It's worth looking through your BIOS to verify that you have the necessary things enabled / disabled.
