error code= 0x00000005 install of r89598 touchpad controls

While trying to install the drivers for the touchpad (r89598) I get a error of code= 0x00000005 at about 50% of install, I click ok to the error and it jumps to 100% done. I just want to turn the tap funtion of the touch pad off. please help. Thank you in advance to anyone that takes the time to help me.
